What to expect from a quote from a florist?
Ok, so I am the first of all my friends and my brothers and sisters and cousins to marry. Thus, I really have no idea what to expect by a quote from my florist. I went last week, I make a handtied bouquet Small roses for me, white and purple. Same for my Ministry Health, and my (4) are smaller bridesmaids all purple. 7 boutineers simple all white roses with some greenery. 4 blouses, white roses and greens. Table Centers are glass vases with 1 in pink, pompom, economic and certain other charges. Flower girls were each with 1 ring each mom (I know these are only a few dollars each). Nothing on the table. Small flowers bound Remarks on the table and the ribbon with white flowers in the bottom of the stairs. Could someone give me a fork? I will not get the quote online and was surprised, and will not be used.
I am not having many flowers, and I still I was shocked by the price. I use red roses. Here are my spreadsheets: bridal bouquet (2 doz. Roses) $ 150.00 branch of the Ministry of Health (1 Doz. Rosas) 100.00 $ 25 long-stemmed red roses at $ 15/per Tips 125.00 4 $ 60.00 ($) 3 Tops 18.99/per $ 56.97 ($) large basket of rose petals $ 30.00 tax $ 43.06 total $ 565.03 paid $ 300 deposit, but I think they said they were lower than if we wanted. The biggest surprise was $ 5 per long-stemmed red rose (which we put in vases). They said they were "ripe" pink, and not the price, you can get at the grocery store. But I think we have cheated here.
